Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage all daily curriculum operations with adherence to NAEYC and state regulations.
- Supervise and support curriculum implementation, classroom environments, and teacher-child interactions in line with early learning standards.
- Support the training and onboarding of all teachers, assistant teachers, and support staff.
- Maintain staffing ratios and provide classroom ratio support as needed.
- Build strong relationships with families and ensure satisfaction through effective family communication and engagement strategies.
- Facilitate professional growth through classroom observations and on-site training sessions.
- Ensure lesson plans and activities are developmentally appropriate and engaging.
- Partner with the Corporate Office Curriculum Director to pilot and evaluate new initiatives that enrich children’s educational experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher), preferably in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field
- Must have at least three years total experience teaching children in a group setting, preferably with at least one year of experience in a NAEYC or Cognia accredited program.
- In-depth knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and state early learning guidelines
- Familiarity with play-based learning.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience supporting the professional development of faculty and staff.
